Best paper awards and publications
Original, yet-to-be-published full-length research papers are eligible to compete for the EUPRERA Annual Best Paper Awards. In addition, authors of selected contributions may be invited to submit their work for publication in one of the following outlets:
- a Special Issue of the Journal of Communication Management (publication conditional upon the journal’s double-blind peer-review process);
- an edited volume published as part of the Advances in Public Relations and Communication Management series by Emerald (publication conditional upon a peer-review process coordinated by the editors).
To streamline the publication process and provide authors with earlier clarity, EUPRERA has introduced several updates to the eligibility criteria, deadlines, and notification procedures for both publication outlets associated with the Congress.
What has changed?
Eligibility
Only full papers are eligible for:
- consideration for the Journal of Communication Management Special Issue;
- consideration for the EUPRERA Best Paper Award.
To be considered for one or both options, authors must submit a full paper by March 15 and explicitly indicate their interest in:
- the JCOM Special Issue and/or
- the Best Paper Award.
Structured short papers are not eligible for either the Special Issue or the Best Paper Award.
Submission of full papers in August
- Full paper submission in August is no longer required.
Notification timeline
- Authors will be notified in June regarding:
- consideration for the Journal of Communication Management Special Issue;
- invitations to contribute to the edited volume
(please note that an invitation does not guarantee publication).
These updates are designed to support a clearer and more efficient publication process in connection with the EUPRERA Congress.
