First up this morning: the Paper Development Workshop (PDW).
The PDW gives authors of early-stage papers structured, constructive feedback from senior scholars before they take their research further — a valuable step in helping young academic work mature into published research.
This year’s papers explored a wide range of pressing topics: public relations ethics, unequal access to health information, strategic communication for democratic resilience, and AI framing in Big Tech’s sustainability narratives.
The workshop was chaired by Sarah Marschlich and Benno Viererbl.
