Central Conversation Regenerating Public Relations or Public Relations for Regeneration?

  • Wednesday, 16/Sept/2026
  • 3:15pm – 4:15pm
  • Location: Salón de Actos / Auditorium

The Central Conversation, “Regenerating Public Relations or Public Relations for Regeneration?”, brings together perspectives from academia, purpose-driven business, the technology sector and the social economy to explore a central question of EUPRERA 2026: whether regeneration requires transforming public relations itself—its practices, assumptions and responsibilities—or repositioning communication as a force that can contribute to wider social, territorial and economic regeneration. Through an open conversational format, the session will address ethical dilemmas, narrative risks, questions of legitimacy and the possibilities for real impact, connecting critical reflection on the profession with the practical challenges of organisations seeking to contribute to positive change.
